Die Glasgower Rocker Mason Hill haben heute ihre neue Single "Find My Way" über 7Hz Recordings (ADA) veröffentlicht. Im September erschien die erste Single "Against The Wall", die neben einer wichtigen UK Playlist bei Planet Rock inzwischen auch über 110.000 Streams vorwesien kann und in Europe bisher über 250 Plays im Radio bekam.
Leadsänger Scott Taylor hat äußert sie wie folgt zur neuen Single: “Find My Way is definitely our most ‘Balls-To-The-Wall’ rock track so far. We know from road testing this one that it will get people head banging and the blood pumping. It’s a track about using anger and determination to get your life back on the right course, something we’ve all had to deal with in one way or another, especially in 2020!”
Die neue Single ist aus dem für den 5. März angekündigte Debütalbum, das ebenfalls den Titel "Against The Wall" trägt und hier in diversen Stores vorbstellt werden kann. Die größte Auswahl hat der Artist Store mit u.a. drei exklusive Vinylfraben mit alternativem Cover Artwork.
Gitarrist James Bird sagte: “We really wanted to create a memorable and collectible physical release package for our debut album. We’ve gone a bit mad and created the ultimate vinyl junkie dream with multiple coloured vinyl versions, a picture disk, bonus tracks and all sorts of weird and wonderful bundles! It’s a far cry from the digital world we all love but it harks back to the smell and touch of old school rock ‘n’ roll”.
Das Debütalbum von Mason Hill war lange in Arbeit und wurde im November 2019 in den Riverside Studios in Glasgow aufgenommen, wobei Sänger Scott Taylor später nach New York reiste, um dort seine Parts einzusingen.
Den Mix übernahm Chris Sheldon (Biffy Clyro, The Foo Fighters) und somit bereit um in einigen Monaten für reichlich Wirbel in der Rock-Szene zu sorgen.
